After Apple successfully sued Franklin Computers for infringing their intellectual property by cloning the Apple II ROMs and DOS in the ACE 100 and 1000/1200, Franklin created the 2000 series computers. These Apple IIe clones were designed to be as compatible as possible, while not violating copyright.
When I was doing research for this post over on 6502Lane, I discovered that online ACE 2100 documentation was in short supply. I borrowed the 2000 Series User Reference Manual from David Schmidt and scanned and posted it here.
This also includes the Extended Memory Card and RGB Interface Card Manual Addenda.

I’m also interested in obtaining (either on a short-term loan, or a permanent basis) the ACE 2000 Technical Reference Manual. If you have it and are willing to lend it to me for scanning, or sell it to me, please drop me an email.
